FaberCollins Travel Services is an incoming tour operator and tour designer, which was founded in 1993 by Anette Faber (Dutch) and Bettina Collins (German). Both came from a tourism industry background. Sadly, Anette had to leave the travel business altogether in 2001 due to family commitments, but Bettina kept going and has established herself with the company as one of the top incoming operators in Southern Africa. Her expansion into countries outside South Africa, such as Namibia, Botswana and Zambia, is imminent - she has already established good contacts with local tour operators, viewed numerous lodges, camps and hotels, and personally travelled various routes outlined in the new SPECIALS field.
FaberCollins Travel Services focuses on group, individual and specialised travel to Southern Africa and caters mainly for the German speaking market. They pride themselves in producing detailed, comprehensive and extensive travel programmes, suitable for first-time or seasoned travellers to Southern Africa. Tailor-made packages typically include accommodation, transport, bookings of guides, restaurant and tours.
